AMMA Newsletter - March 2026
Dear Members and Allies,
The American Medical Manufacturers Association (AMMA) held its annual Board of Directors meeting on March 5, 2026 in Washington, D.C. Board members reviewed the organization’s progress and outlined priorities for the year ahead. Members also engaged in a communications and marketing discussion, a review of board governance best practices, a government relations update, and other items related to the growth of the association.
During the meeting, the board elected a new executive leadership team and welcomed two new board members whose expertise will strengthen AMMA’s strategic direction and advocacy efforts. We thank our new executive committee:
- President: Tom Allen, Altor Safety
- Vice President: Donny Chan, Maxter Healthcare, Inc.
- Treasurer: Doug Wynalda, Wynalda Packaging, and
- Secretary: Alan Rust, SafeSource Direct
We also welcome Michelle Feinberg of NYES and Dan Adams of American Armor to the board.
In conjunction with the board meeting, AMMA met with leaders from the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) to discuss their current strategic goals and future collaboration opportunities. The ASPR team initiated the meeting, demonstrating their continued interest in partnering with AMMA to strengthen the domestic medical manufacturing base and advance national readiness.
