AMMA's political reality

Protecting offshore production is a priority for too many in healthcare and public safety. Hospital systems, GPOs, and other well-funded interests are investing heavily in policies that run counter to ours. The PAC levels the playing field.

Federal law prohibits corporations and trade associations from using treasury funds to contribute directly to federal candidates — so the PAC depends entirely on voluntary individual contributions.

Before you contribute, please be aware:

Contributions to the AMMA PAC will be used in connection with state and/or federal elections and are subject to the prohibitions and limitations of the Federal Election Campaign Act and applicable state laws.
Contributing is entirely voluntary. You have the right to refuse, and your decision will not result in any reprisal or affect your membership status.
The maximum aggregate contribution is $5,000 per calendar year. You may give more or less than any suggested amount — or nothing at all — without being favored or disadvantaged.
You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (green card holder residing in the U.S.) to contribute. Contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited by federal law.
Political contributions are not tax-deductible. Federal law requires the PAC to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of each individual whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.
